Facilitation Skills Workshop – one day:

Before – During – After

The aim: Participants develop and demonstrate the confidence and skills to facilitate effective meetings. To learn and apply the tools and techniques to balance the people, the processes and the task to produce productive profitable meetings.

By the end of the workshop participants have refined the core facilitation skills and are able to:

  • List the key steps required to plan, prepare and facilitate a meeting

  • Demonstrate how to influence and lead a group in facilitation including creating the environment, engagement and managing challenging behaviours

  • Demonstrate the basic rules and responsibilities of facilitating, including asking great questions and a powerful creative brainstorming technique

  • Summarise and get commitment to take action

  • Practise the skills and (some) processes by conducting a 15 - 20 minute group discussion and receive and give constructive feedback.
